Finn's first trip to the Family timeshare in Taupo.....

Nonni said, I will just take Finn for a paddle to wet his feet !!! - Finn had other ideas !!!

Feeding the ducks with Nonni & Pappa..... means that I eat bread !!!

Putting shoes on Pappa's feet - even if they are Mummy's and mine !!!

Its serious reading time now...... none of this story books stuff, straight to the property section.

First Birthday Party.......

Some pictures of the day, with the "special people" and grandparents, the amazing birthday "rocket" cake that Jeff made !!! And the following day opening ALL the amazing presents that Finn was given..... thank you all once again.

On Finn's actual birthday, we had a few cupcakes and a candle to celebrate, as you can see from the pictures above, Finn was straight into it, didn't even wait to blow out the candle and ended up eating TWO cupcakes (this was after one of his regular massive dinners!).

I found Finn on his birthday, cleaning the shower for me, so cute!!

First haircut !

Well its about time I updated Finns blog, and boy oh boy does our little boy keep us busy !!!

I have attached a couple of recent videos of him, he has been sick with on going ear infections and virus's but (touch wood) is finally coming right.

He is doing lots of "walking" behind his Truck, walking around furniture and walls, into EVERYTHING !!!

Finn mimics words such as "tick tock" for a clock and moves his head from side to side, tries to say "Star" "Light" and lots of other sounds which I am yet to work out. He waves hello and goodbye at EVERYONE !!! Said "Boo" to Nonni & Mummy (but has only done it the once so far).

I love going to the park, especially the swing (or the swing at home). My favourite TV programme is still "Little Einstein's" and I copy them going "pat pat pat" on my legs, then I raise my arms as high as I can when they say "BLAST OFF" - very cute to watch, but I haven't managed to get him to do it on camera yet !!

I had my first haircut on Friday (Thanks to Mummy's best friend Aunty Bec), but still had a temperature so was a bit grumpy, but I look better now I don't have a mullet!

Mummy has put below video of my "walking", me packing my daycare bag, Daddy pushing me on the swing and me giggling on the swing, and finally me banging on my drum Daddy made me !!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry about the delay in getting and up date to you, but I have been up to soooo much...... I am crawling now..... well Mummy says that I look like I am camo crawling, and Nonni said you mean like an Alligator, so I am now a Finn-a-gator !!!

At my last plunket check up I weighed in at a healthy 9.78kgs (an nice average 50% on the chart) and I am 76.5cms tall, which puts me in the 97% percentile !! So it looks like I am going to be pretty tall, just like Mum & Dad.

I am starting daycare next week, and will be there two days a week. I am looking forward to meeting new little people and Mummy is looking forward to going back to work.

I am pretty much eating what Mummy and Daddy have for dinner, such as roast chicken and vege's. Last Sunday Pappa had great fun feeding my my roast dinner, and thought I was very good at picking up my veges and chicken from my highchair.

I shake my head (see video attached), and say Dadda, da da dadda, Nah ahha nah nah, Mumma ma ma, Taa ta ta, Naanna na na........

I give High-5's !

I wave "Hello" !!

I clap my hands !!!

I go to Jumping Beans with my friend Chloe and her Mummy Helen, I am enjoying it more and more now that I can crawl. I have even used some of the stuff I learnt, like going backwards off the couch.

I still love my baths with Daddy, and have learnt how to splash water everywhere !! I pull myself up using the bath and have to keep sitting back down as it is safer.

I have two bottom teeth, but have both my top front teeth and one side tooth coming down at the moment, which has been very sore. But it makes it more fun to rip food with my new teeth...... especially big peices of toast and meat.

Specially for Uncle E & Aunty E.....and anyone else who wants to see some video!

Wow, soo much to tell you.......

I have two front teeth

I can sit up by myself

I LOVE my jolly jumper - and have to go in it each day at about 4.30pm (see video below)

I say "da da dada da da"

I blow raspberries

I think Mummy is a trampoline !!!

I love it when Daddy comes home from work..... (yes, Daddy gets the hero's welcome!!) (also see video below)

I eat 3 meals a day - Plus morning and afternoon tea

I got my Mummy a birthday present and helped Daddy pick out the card

I like Mummy & Daddy reading me stories before bed

I don't use a dummie anymore - I have been "dummie" free for 1 month now. (Hi my name is Finn and I was a dummie-aholic !!!)

But I still want to suck my arms - so Mummy and Daddy cover them up, but I still try !

I like new toys..... especially the ones that Nonni & Pappa, and Nana Irene got me recently.... as I was getting very bored with my old ones.

I am starting Jumping Beans next week with my friend Chloe and her Mummy Helen from Coffee group.

I finally got in to Mainly Music next term, so I can't wait to watch crazy Auntie Shona on a regular basis.

Mummy has started having Tuesday nights of freedom (Leaving Daddy to look after me) so far she has been out for wine & tappa's with some of the girls from coffee group, and has caught up with Dianne (workmate from Stack).
