Hi everyone,
I am 2 weeks old today..... Mummy & Daddy can't believe that its been two weeks already !!!
Last Thursday I went for my first trip "out" with Mummy & Daddy - we went to the baby factory to pick up some "supplies".
Last Friday I went for my first walk in my Mountain Buggy / porta cot (see picture attached). We walked around the block as Mummy was only allowed to walk for 1/2 hour last week.
We have had HEAPS of visitors and I have been TOTALLY spoilt by all the gifts that everyone keeps sending / giving me - I am very spoilt already - Thank you !!!
My Midwife Libby came to see me today and I have put on heaps of weight and am doing really well - I am already 4.39kgs - so well over my birth weight now.
The Milk Truck - aka Mummy is eating like a horse to keep up with ALL the feeding that I am doing....... some times the milk truck has to eat while feeding just to keep up with me !!!
I am a pretty good sleeper - sleep between 2 - 3 hour blocks at night and then am up for 1 hours feeding and burping. So Mummy is getting some sleep !!
Daddy is back at work now, and I miss our mornings together - but he comes home and I am ready for Daddy time then - including bath time every second night. And he will be having heaps of time with me on Saturday and Sundays so that is very exciting.
Nonni (Nana Libbi) is here helping Mummy this week, and has been a total god sent !!!! With all the washing, cooking, cleaning and general helping - Mummy is not sure what she would have done with our Nonni and Daddy.
Dadda (Granddad Rob) brought me my first - real full size ruby ball today - I think Dadda is very excited about kicking the ball around when I am big enough.
Nana MIL (Irene) has been popping over for with some lovely food for Mummy & Daddy, including smoked salmon and champagne - which Mummy was VERY excited about as she hadn't had smoked salmon and champagne in 10 months !!!
